Country music star Kane Brown recently released his latest single, "I Can Feel It."
"I can feel it in the air / Feel it in the whiskey in my hand / Your hips, your body tells me when you start to dance / Maybe this is turning into a 'we should probably get up out of here' / Oh baby I swear / I can feel it in the air," Brown sings in the chorus.
Brown's song samples the famous drum part from Phil Collins' hit "In the Air Tonight." The former Genesis singer is listed among the songwriters on "I Can Feel It," along with Brown, Gabe Foust and Jaxson Free.
"It's a legendary drum fill and it's a legendary song. There's no way I could not do that," Brown told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 in reference to including Collins' name in the credits. "I'm the type of guy that I don't like to screw anybody over. I feel like good karma is, that's what's going to keep you going in life."
He added, "Even if it was a new guy that was working at a small store nobody knew about, I'd definitely give him writer's credit. Phil could have said no, so I'm glad that he let me use the song."

Foghat have released a video for "She's a Little Bit of Everything," the second single from their upcoming 17th studio album, Sonic Mojo, which is due out on November 10th via Foghat Records.
Sonic Mojo, which is Foghat's first album in seven years, features three songs - including "She's a Little Bit of Everything" - co-written with late Savoy Brown founder and guitarist Kim Simmonds, who died in 2022.
"He was a blues man," Foghat's Roger Earl told Ultimate Classic Rock. "Kim had a wonderful touch [and] he could emote through his guitar playing. It reached you."
Bryan Bassett says, "The song is a straight-up blues rocker that's quickly becoming a crowd favorite in our live show."
"What an honor to be part of a song written by Kim and performed with Roger! It's a straight rock and roll track that celebrates women! In all of her power, grace and beauty. What else is there to celebrate if not women?!?" Scott Holt adds.
Earl concludes, "As soon as I heard this song, I knew it was for us. I claimed that it was written about Kim's wife, Debi, but she is far too fine a person to ever admit that that's where it came from. I really believe that this is where Kim got the inspiration for this song. It's probably my favorite. Thank you, Kim."

Rock band Nickelback recently released a music video for "High Time," a song from their tenth studio album, Get Rollin'.
"'High Time' takes listeners on a hazy cross-country road trip that reminds us that it's always 4:20 somewhere," says a press release.
Timothy Hiehle directed the "High Time" video and shot the clip alongside Austin Friedline, Peter Hoang, Ryan Mclemore and Tanner Gallagher. Alan Lopez also assisted making of the visual.
The video shows the group rolling through desert highways and into cities in a '70s-inspired yellow van, before getting onstage to perform.
The band released the Get Rollin' record's first two singles, "San Quentin" and "Those Days," in September 2022 and October 2022, respectively.
Get Rollin', which arrived in November 2022 via BMG, was the band's first album in five years.
